2. Collection and storage of personal data; type, purpose and usage

When you commission work from us, we collect the following information:

- Salutation, title, first name, last name

- Address

- Email address

- Telephone number (land line and/or mobile)

- Fax number (if available)

- Bank account information if applicable

- Social media identifiers

We will also collect any other information we need to enable us to carry out the requirements stipulated in our contract with you.

We collect your personal data:

- to be able to identify you as a customer

- to be able to advise you in the appropriate manner

- to enable us to fulfil our contractual obligations to you

- to comply with regulatory requirements

- to be able to correspond with you

- for invoicing purposes and for payment reminder procedures (if applicable)

- for the purpose of sending permissible direct mail

- to assert any claims for damages against you.

We process your personal data as a result of you contacting us and as is required for the above-mentioned purposes. We use it to carry out the commission and to fulfil the commitments stipulated in our contract with you.

The personal data collected will be stored until the statutory retention period for business people expires (6, 8 or 10 years after the end of the calendar year in which the contractual relationship ended). After this period, the data will be deleted. As an exception, this may not apply if we are obliged to store the data for longer, due to fiscal or commercial regulations governing the statutory data retention period, or if you have consented to your data being stored for a longer period.

3. Forwarding of data to third parties

As a basic principle, we do not forward your personal data to third parties. Any exception to this principle shall only apply where forwarding is required by the terms of our contractual relationship with you. In particular, this includes passing details to service providers we have commissioned (subcontractors) or other third parties whose activity is required to fulfil the contract (such as banks and mailing houses). The third parties must use the data exclusively for the named purpose.

 

4. Your rights as the person affected

As the person affected by the data processing, you have various rights:

- Right to withdraw consent: at any time, you can withdraw the consent you previously provided to us. The processing of data related to the consent that has been withdrawn must then stop and not continue into the future.

- Right to information: you can request information from us about how we process your personal data. This particularly applies to purposes like data processing, the categories of data we process, the categories of data recipients if applicable, the duration of data storage and the origin of your data (if applicable).

- Right to correction: you can request that we correct errors or complete missing information in the personal information we store about you.

- Right to deletion: you can request that we delete the personal data we store about you, as long as the processing of the data is not required in order to exercise the right to express an opinion freely and obtain information; to meet a legal obligation; for public interest reasons; or to assert, exercise or defend a legal claim.

- Right to limit processing: you can request a limit to the processing of your personal data if you contest the correctness of the data or if the processing of the data is illegal but you do not want to have it deleted. You also have this right when we no longer need the data but you require it in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. Additionally, you have this right if you log an objection to the processing of your personal data.

- Right to data portability: you can request that we send you the personal data you previously provided us with in a structured, common and machine-readable format. Alternatively, you can request that we transfer the personal data you provided us with to another responsible person, assuming this is possible.

- Right to complain: you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for us if, for example, you are of the opinion that we are processing your data in an unlawful manner. The authority responsible for us is

5. Your right to opposition

Inasmuch as we are processing your personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you have the right to lodge your opposition to this processing activity. If you would like to exercise this right to lodge your opposition, a written message will suffice. Please write us a letter, send us a fax or contact us by email. 6. Online data processing

Certain personal data is also processed via our website and our email system, which is outsourced to an external service provider. This data includes the IP addresses of website visitors.
